A story in the glass
Cerro Añón draws on Rioja’s tradition of bringing together wines from different places. Bodegas Olarra presents the range through composition, seeking a shared voice from the diversity of vineyards and soils within the region.

Olarra was established outside Logroño in 1973. Its building, designed by Juan Antonio Ridruejo, became a recognisable feature, often called the cathedral of Rioja. The architecture was conceived around the work of winemaking, joining a striking appearance with a practical function and giving the new winery a distinct identity.
For Cerro Añón, the producer emphasises selecting grapes from different zones, soils and vineyards. This offers an important way into Rioja: character can emerge from the careful combination of many places. The range invites attention to the wine as a whole, assembled from diverse elements chosen to work together within the bottle.
