A story in the glass
Moët Impérial is the signature cuvée of Moët & Chandon. Created in 1869, its name recalls the Moët family’s connections with Napoleon and the history of Épernay.

The house itself dates to Claude Moët in 1743. Subsequent generations, including Jean-Rémy Moët, helped carry Champagne beyond France. Impérial is neither a vintage nor a single vineyard: it is a blend intended to express a recognisable house style.
Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay are joined by reserve wines, helping maintain continuity between releases. Fruit and notes of bread meet in the glass. At Amarone we therefore regard it not only as a wine for a toast, but also as a companion to dinner.
