A story in the glass
Mount Vernon takes its name from a real Wither Hills peak behind the Lawson’s Dry Hills winery in Marlborough. That local landmark lends its identity to a range focused on fruit.

The hill rises to 422 metres near Blenheim. Its name does not signify a separate appellation or an independent historic estate: the range is made by Lawson’s Dry Hills. For its Sauvignon Blanc, the producer emphasises clean fruit and an approachable character.
The winery describes both tropical-fruit and fresh-herb associations. That balance makes an interesting comparison with European Sauvignon. Mount Vernon is a direct, juicy interpretation of Marlborough, particularly rewarding alongside fish, salad or lighter starters at the table.
