A story in the glass
Combeval Grande Cuvée centres on Gros Manseng, a distinctive white grape of south-western France. It comes from Côtes-de-Gascogne rather than the Loire Valley, an important distinction in understanding its story.

Behind the label is LGI Wines, established in Carcassonne in 1999 and working with partner wineries across southern France. The company’s headquarters do not determine the origin of every wine it makes. Combeval belongs to Gascony and its separate tradition of aromatic white grapes.
Gros Manseng can combine ripe fruit with pronounced acidity, so softness need not mean heaviness in this off-dry wine. We recommend Combeval when you would like a fuller, fruit-led white that can retain freshness alongside a more assertive cheese.
