A story in the glass
Joachim Flick Riesling Classic comes from the Rheingau, not the Mosel. The producer brings together fruit from around Wicker and Hochheim for an elegant, more rounded expression of Riesling.

The limestone-marl soils named in the producer’s information offer a different setting from the Mosel’s familiar slate. Classic belongs to the estate’s introductory range, expressing its style without claiming a single celebrated parcel. Another prestigious wine’s history should not be transferred to it simply because the surname matches.
The producer emphasises balance between fruit, acidity and a touch of sweetness. Riesling Classic can therefore stay fresh without seeming austere. At Amarone we suggest it for fish or poultry when a gentler finish is preferred.
