A story in the glass
Aris Johanniter follows another path in Polish winemaking, choosing a German-bred grape valued for resistance. Alongside classical varieties in Osiecznica, it contributes a different approach to fruit expression and the structure of white wine.
Read more Close story
Aris presents Johanniter as a modern, resistant white variety. Its collection includes several interpretations, from still whites to skin-macerated wines. Their coexistence shows that selecting a grape is only the beginning: the eventual character develops through the conditions of a harvest and the decisions subsequently made in the cellar.
For its still Johanniter, the producer describes apples, apricots and citrus within a more substantial structure. Texture provides a useful focus for tasting. This label introduces an important component of contemporary Polish plantings and invites comparison with Aris Riesling or Chardonnay, keeping the vineyard location as a shared point of reference.
