A story in the glass
Domodo Rosso turns towards the everyday table of Puglia and two important southern red grapes, Primitivo and Negroamaro. Together they offer a way into the region’s tradition of blending wines around the character of fruit.
Read more Close story
A direct importer presents Rosso Amabile as an Apulian combination of Primitivo and Negroamaro. Here, the regional name matters more than an imagined castle or celebrated individual plot. Domodo opens a conversation about wines assembled around local grapes, intended to accompany food within the wider culture of the southern Italian table.
The background to the range lies in the cooperative tradition of San Marzano di San Giuseppe. Local winemaking developed from growers working together towards bottling their own wines and reaching customers directly. Behind an uncomplicated label is therefore a model of collaboration, with many growers contributing to a shared southern Italian collection.
