A story in the glass
Tufarello turns towards northern Puglia and the Nero di Troia grape. Its regional address lies between Bari and Foggia, where the producer identifies sandy clay soils and breezes arriving from the Adriatic Sea.

Within Fantini’s collection, Tufarello appears alongside Vigneti del Vulture, while the wine’s own geography leads to Puglia. The distinction matters: a family of products does not necessarily identify the origin of every grape. Here, Puglia and Nero di Troia provide the clearest guides to the wine’s northern Apulian setting.
The Polish importer describes Nero di Troia through dark fruit, a cherry-led aroma and supple tannins. This offers a way to explore the variety on its own terms. Tufarello’s story is therefore also one of regional diversity, introducing a part of Puglia where several distinct red grapes retain their own place within local wine culture.
