A story in the glass
Allegrini Amarone leads into the hills of Valpolicella Classica, where family experience meets the patience of appassimento. Before reaching the cellar, selected grapes begin a separate chapter of gradual drying after harvest.

Giovanni Allegrini holds a particular place in the family story. From the 1960s, his work on cultivation and grape selection helped renew local winemaking. Valpolicella Classica comprises five municipalities between Verona, Lake Garda and the Lessini Mountains, anchoring that history in a specific corner of western Veneto.
For Amarone, selected bunches enter the fruttaio, a space dedicated to drying grapes. Water loss changes the proportions within the fruit before fermentation begins. Allegrini brings together Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Oseleta here, seeking to preserve recognisable fruit within the intensity created by this regional tradition.
