A story in the glass
La Chablisienne tells a story of growers working together since 1923. Its Chablis presents the northern Burgundian face of Chardonnay: fresh, restrained and closely tied to its place of origin.

The cooperative was established during the difficult interwar years, when local growers chose to join forces. That background matters: a wine does not have to come from a solitary family estate to possess a clear identity and a sustained commitment to quality.
Limestone soils, including the celebrated Kimmeridgian formations, and a cool climate shape the appellation. Chardonnay here produces a lively white rather than a heavy, sweet-seeming wine. Alongside fish or seafood, its precision becomes easier to appreciate without richer flavours taking over.
